Welcome
Aimee Harman has ridden horses of all varieties since a toddler, and owned and trained horses of all kinds, from troublesome narky ponies as a young rider, to a jumping schoolmaster with a heavy mouth, to an off the track thoroughbred with a rearing problem, and many others each with their own quirks.
She has studied under horsemanship master Ross Jacobs, and classical dressage masters Manolo and Jose Mendez. She has great respect for all three trainers and has taken the elements of training that she has found most useful from them all.
Aimee believes that the first priority of any training approach should be one of kindness and respect. The best way to provide that to the horse is to offer them clarity and leadership. Aimee specialises in young and green horses, as well as difficult horses, and nervous riders. She can help provide the tools to connect the horse and the rider, and to establish a really solid framework on which to build once the horse is ready for further training.
Whether you are looking for help with your groundwork and in-hand work, establishing the basics with your young horse under saddle, or you want to work on your dressage test for an upcoming competition, Aimee can help you.
